National Building and Marketing Co. (NBM)

National Building and Marketing Co. (NBM) reported a 6% drop in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 50.2 million for the first nine months of 2022, from SAR 53.2 million in the year-earlier period.

 

The company was hit by higher operational and financing costs. Total financing costs increased to SAR 4.9 million from SAR 3.9 million a year earlier, on higher interest rates.

In Q3 2022, net profit after Zakat and tax fell 25% to SAR 18.4 million, from SAR 28.1 million a year earlier, as revenues across the board dropped from SAR 164 million to SAR 148 million.

 

Compared to Q2 2022, net profit jumped 16% from SAR 15.9 million, on an increase in sales volumes during the current period.
