The annual results were hurt by a decline in financing income from lease contracts, which decrease year to year.
GACO also recorded an impairment loss in the value of investment properties compared to recording a refund of the impairment loss in 2022. In addition, GACO noted an increase in the value of the Zakat provision made in 2023, compared to a year earlier.
On the other hand, general and administrative expenses declined. The company also reported higher profits from revaluing financial assets at fair value, and other revenues during the current year compared to the previous year.
