Shams board approves CEO request not to renew contract

Tourism Enterprise Co. (Shams) said its board of directors approved CEO Mohannad Al-Onaizan's request, dated April 24, to not renew his contract due to personal reasons.
 

Abdullah Al-Suwailem was appointed as new CEO, effective April 28, 2024, Shams said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Al-Sweilem has a Master’s in engineering management from Burj Port University, USA. With 20 years of executive management experience, he has served as Audit Committee chairman for two terms and is currently the Managing Director, the company stated.
