Al Rajhi Takaful says 10.6M shares transferred to Al Rajhi Insurance Bahrain

Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance (Al Rajhi Takaful) received on Nov. 26 a letter from Al Rajhi Insurance Co. Ltd. Bahrain indicating that 10.6 million shares, or a stake of 26.5%, were transferred to the investment portfolios of shareholders pro rata, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

Accordingly, Al Rajhi Takaful’s major shareholders list will change, the statement added.

 

The Bahraini company, which was established in 1990 with SAR 9.95 million capital, was 51% owned by Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi and 49%-owned by Sultan Abdullah Al Rajhi.
