AME Company for Medical Supplies said that the representative of the company’s external auditor read the independent report of others during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on June 18 instead of reading the company’s independent report for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2022.

In a statement to the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), the company noted that it uploaded and published the correct auditor's report within the period specified by law through its page on the Tadawul website and within the attachments of the invitation to the general assembly meeting published on the market's website.

Therefore, and according to the estimation of the company's officials, there was no impact on the company's financial position, the results of the fiscal year, or the accompanying footnotes that were presented due to the unintentional error made by the external auditor's representative, AME added.
